1. How long has this company been open for?
Newmarket Hyundai opened in 1999 when Tony Del Gobbo took over the existing dealership and renamed it Newmarket Hyundai. The Hyundai brand has been available to Newmarket residents since 1984. Almost 30 years!

2. How many sales people do you have and who are the sales mangers?
We have 7-8 sales people usually on staff to make sure that we have knowledgeable trained consultants to help you.  Our general sales manager is Joe Piazza who has a background in sales. Our new car sales manager is Brayden Micucci, bringing experience in F&I and sales. Rounding out our sales managers is our used car sales manager, Chris Del Gobbo, who grew up helping his Father on the family used car lot.

4. Do I have to service here ?
It is always your choice where to service your vehicle, but we hope that our professionally trained service technicians and knowledgeable staff will keep you wanting to service with us. We offer computer stations with Internet access for you while you wait or we have a shuttle bus service to get you where you need to be. We also maintain a customer data base with reminder calls so you never miss your next service.

5. Where are these cars built ?
Hyundai Auto Canada Corp., headquartered in Markham, Ontario, is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company of Korea.  Established in 1983, Hyundai found a niche in the Canadian marketplace by providing well-built, yet affordable vehicles. Today, Hyundai has grown into one of the best-selling foreign manufacturers in Canada by making quality, safety and design the top priorities.

6. What are your finance rates & who do you use for you financing ?
We have finance rates starting as low as 0% on select models. Through out the year we run different specials so it's best to check in with us and see what specials we have going on and what fits your needs best. 
We also have many financial institutions that you can finance your vehicle through.  Bank of Montreal, the bank of Nova Scotia, TD Bank  & Royal Bank are a few of our major lenders. We pride ourselves on getting you the financing that works for your situation.  We will even finance your car purchase through Newmarket Hyundai.

7. Should we consider rust proofing?
Rust proofing can be a wonderful investment for your vehicle. It can help protect your vehicle for many years and prolong the life of your investment.  We offer rustproofing as one of many options available through our business office, along with items like life insurance, paint and fabric protection or disability insurance.

8. Whats my trade worth?
Every vehicle is different. Year, Make, Model and condition all play a part in determining what your trade is worth. We base our trade appraisals on a combination of black book value and our experience in determining the condition of your vehicle to make sure you get a fair price.

9. What's the difference between monthly and bi-weekly ?
 Monthly payments -  You  will have one payment on the same date each month.   For example, if you finance your car for 60 months (5 years), and your first payment comes out on the 15th, of October, then it will come out on the 15th of each following month for the next 60 months.  This works out to 12 payments a year. 
Bi-weekly - You will have a payment coming out of your account every other week. This means that some months there will be 3 payments. This works out to 26 payments per year.  By paying Bi-weekly, you increase the frequency of your payments and save more in the long run.

10. What is your warranty?

5 Year 100,000 KM Comprehensive Limited
Covers nearly every new vehicle component.
Covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Hyundai that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance
The following components covered for time and mileage limits indicated:
  • Radio and Sound Systems (i.e. radio, cassette tape drive mechanism, compact disc player, and GPS), DVD system: 3 years / 60,000 Km
  • Paint: 3 years/ 60,000 Km
  • Battery: 2 years / 40,000 Km
  • Adjustments: 1 year / 20,000 Km

5 Year 100,000 KM  Powertrain Protection
Covers most engine and transaxle components.
  • Covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e. selected Engine, Transmission / Transaxle,and 4WD components), originally manufactured or installed by Hyundai that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance

5 Year  100,000 KM Basic Emissions Coverage

Hyundai's Emission System Warranty covers the basic emission components unless otherwise specifically provided, for 60 months from the Warranty Registration Date or 100,000 Km, whichever occurs first.

8 Year 130,000 KM Major Emission Coverage

Covers repair or replacement of the following original Hyundai major emissions control components :
  • Catalytic Converter
  • Engine Control Module
  • Onboard Emissions Diagnostic Device (OBDII)

3 Year Unlimited KM 24 Hour Road Side Assistance

Covers towing, lockout, flat tire and battery boosting.
Covers vehicle, regardless if current owner is original or subsequent owner.
Includes the following full roadside amenities:

  • Towing Service - Vehicle Inoperable
  • Battery Boosting Service
  • Flat Tire Changing Service
  • Lockout Service
  • Fuel Delivery
  • Mechanical First Aid
  • Winching and Extrication Service
  • U.S. Arrest Bond Certificate Service

Exclusions
Roadside Assistance is NOT A WARRANTY. For a description of the warranty covering your Hyundai, see the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty section of the SERVICE PASSPORT. Roadside Assistance is a limited service, provided to you to help minimize any unforeseen vehicle operation inconvenience.
The Hyundai Roadside Assistance Program does not include reimbursement for any costs/charges for repairs, parts, labour, property loss or any other expense incurred as a result of accident/collision, vehicle abuse, racing, vandalism or other items not covered by the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

1 Year 20,000 KM  Replacement Parts

Genuine Hyundai replacement Parts purchased from and installed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer will be warranted for 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance traveled. Engines and Automatic transaxles are covered for 12 months or 20,000 kms, whichever occurs first.
Genuine Hyundai Parts purchased over the counter (not installed at an authorized Hyundai Dealership) are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase. Only the cost of part is covered under this warranty.
Genuine Hyundai replacement Parts replaced under the terms of the HYUNDAI New Vehicle Warranty, including powertrain, emission, etc., will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty period applicable to the replaced part. Refer to the Service Passport for complete details of Hyundai warranties
3 Year 60,000 KM Replacement Accessories

Genuine HYUNDAI dealer-installed Accessories are warranted for 36 months or 60,000 kms from the Warranty Registration Date, whichever occurs first. If installation occurs after the Warranty Registration Date, warranty coverage is 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance traveled, or the balance of the 36 months or 60,000 kms coverage, whichever is greater.*
Genuine Hyundai Accessories purchased over the counter (not installed at an authorized Hyundai Dealership) are warranted for 12 months, unlimited kilometres from the date of purchase. Only the cost of accessory is covered under this warranty.

* 3-year warranty does not apply to Genuine Hyundai Accessories installed on 2010 and prior model year vehicles. Such Accessories are warranted to be free from defect for 12 months, unlimited kilometres from installation date.
5 Year Unlimited KM  Anti-perforation Warranty

Covers perforation due to corrosion on body sheet metal from inside to outer body surface.
Covers perforation, corrosion of any component through the metal body panel from the lower window line down and occurring from the inner to outer surface, corrosion of original Hyundai body sheet metal due to defects in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Excludes surface corrosion.
